The East Hants Sport Hall of Fame

 

The Hall of Fame is located on the second floor of the East Hants Sportsplex in the hallway between the two arenas. One side of the hallway has seven display cabinets which showcase athletes from the community. The adjacent wall displays the Hall of Fame itself, which includes a Founding Sponsors plaque and a plaque for each inductee. This includes a brief write-up about the inductee's contribution to sport.

 

A total of eight inductees were selected for the inaugural Hall of Fame event held in 2014 at the Riverside Education Centre. This event was a tremendous success with a sell-out crowd of over 300 people in attendance.

 

Going forward, the society continues to induct individuals and teams on a yearly basis.
